NATIONAL WORKSHOP 

“SUSTAINABLE LIVING IN CITIES”

Swedish Institute Alumni meets CSR Europe to to determine if there are chances for a joint co-work and development of smarter and more sustainable cities. CSR Europe National workshop are organized by CSR Latvia and supported by Swedish Institute Alumni and Swedish Embassy.

The context of campaign “Sustainable Living in Cities”

With more than 3/4 of European population currently living in urban areas, cities are centres of economic and social progress in Europe. The position as centres of economic development puts cities under the highest levels of environmental and social pressures.

Sustainable Living in Cities National Workshop through the diverce participants will determine synergies for a joint co-work and development of smarter and more sustainable cities. 

Take part in this national workshop promoting stronger collaborations between city and business stakeholders and take the opportunity to contribute to the development of city-business alliances. We will discuss the role of business, cities, civil society and other stakeholders to address urban sustainability issues.
